It was the only thing that did work for dd1. She knew it as well and used to hold her mouth open for it when she saw it Grin

Had weird stock problems when dd2 was teething and we couldn't get it anywhere so the poor thing had to suffer Sad

Does it buggery.

Does make your baby look like its been inexpertly snorting coke too Grin

Ashton and Parsons is fab! It was half the price of Nelsons when DS was a baby. Tried to get some for his back teeth coming in and it had gone up in price.

Nelsons powder packets are easier to administer though.

MrsJourns · 17/12/2012 21:50

It was brilliant for my LO. It used to stop him being grizzly and firmed up his poo which which would get quite runny when he was teething. I also found Nelsons teetha good.

CoolaYuleA · 18/12/2012 01:56

Only thing that works on my DD is Anbesol Liquid (not the gel) - blooming AMAZING stuff. A&P did nothing.

At the moment I'm worshipping at the altar of Anbesol - DD is cutting five teeth including two molars all at the same time Xmas Confused.

stormforce10 · 18/12/2012 11:25

looks as if its magic dust or just dust depending on the baby. I will buy somke anjd try. I've not come across anbesol so will track some down.

thanks for your help

Great stuff, worked for DD1 10 years ago. Tried to get it from Boots 6 years later for DD2 and was told it wasn't made anymore!!

MrsChristmasBungle · 18/12/2012 11:43

Definitely worked really well for my dd. Did not work.in the slightest for ds.

colditz · 18/12/2012 11:44

No, but calpol does

Interesting thread! Girl at baby class recently told me it it's brilliant but sells out like a flash every time it comes in to shops. Boots own is apparently not the same...

hufflepuffle · 18/12/2012 12:08

Thanks for link Angelico! Thought I was going mad thinking baby teething at 8 weeks!! Might explain his recent change in behaviour too. Was the mega drooling that alerted me. I will try the powders to start with perhaps! Now where do I fit these in among the infacol, the daktarin and the feeding??!

AnyaKnowIt · 18/12/2012 12:10

I found the teetha powders better

hufflepuffle · 19/12/2012 13:53

A&P powders currently removed from sale!!!!! Some licensing issue I think. Got the Nelsons ones to try.

stormforce10 · 19/12/2012 19:34

well I got some and thankfully for dd they seem to work. he went from screaming to gurgling and smiling inside five minutes Smile
