As long as the teeth are brushed thouroughly(sp?) then bm actually doesnt do any harm. (So I have read on here a lot of times maybe have a quick google) We for a long time brushed dd's teeth then she would be bf to sleep (and probably wake in the night for a feed or 4 )
However if teeth are not brushed thoroughly and there are traces of food left then adding bm can cause decay.
Marking place as I was about to ask similar question. Dd 12 mth and no teeth but now has six coming at once. Don't want to brush if her gums are tender as these teeth come through - what did you all do? Apologies if this is hijacking the thread but it seems in the same ball park
Ok so I plan on brushing DD s tooth, but have no idea when to do it at night. We take her up to start bedtime at 6.30 then it is story, bath, feed then bed. When do you do it. She is 6 months and bf. Got no clue when to try and fit brushing teeth in as she needs to feed before bed.
