I'm assuming its an indoor pool? Just make sure you have a towel on the poolside so you can wrap her up quickly and easy to pull on warm layers for after. If she'll drink warm squash maybe make some up for afterwards but she'll be fine - one word of advice though - dry her ears and put a hat on that covers them. Water in the ears freezing was a constant source of earache amongst my clubmates when I was a club swimmer years ago.

we used to take dd1 into the outdoor pool/ hot springs at 11 mos. it was about -20. i think an indoor pool will be fine. just dry thoroughly and wrap up with a hat on before you go outside.

There are plenty of baby wetsuit/ outfits for swimming.

Don't leave as soon as you've finished and changed - stay for a while, let her walk around, get dry and comfortable, give her a snack and then go - you'll feel much better than going straight outside into the cold air!

Thanks everyone.

We used to take her when its been cold before but
Just wondered as she's more aware now. Will definitely be packing
A lunch and hot drinks, she'll also have her cosy clothes and hat at the ready
