I'm not sure if I'm a bit 'late' to be joining MumsNet as I have a 5 month old baby, but only just found out about the site due to the Brown?Cameron press it's received.
Just wanted to say hello and see if there are other Mums in my area on here. I currently live in Hove but we're (hopefully!) moving to East Dean near Eastbourne in the next month or so, so would love to hear from people near there.
Wish I'd known about the site sooner as the info on Breastfeeding would have been really helpful when I started out.
Anyway, hoping to meet some new people and hopefully offer some advice to people based on my experiences so far!
(BTW My Nickname is due to the fact I did Hypnobirthing, had a Homebirth, Breastfeed and am planning BLW. Some people seem to think that's all a bit alternative... I don't really agree!)

Hi all!
Sorry, I totally forgot to check back and see all the new posts!
Nice to see some other Brighton and Hove Mums on here. What sort of things do you guys go to during the week? Am thinking I should go and join in a few more things to meet some more Mums.
BrandonsMummy - ooh congratulations!! What's his birthday? William was born on 22 June. Hypnobirthing was amazing - would definitely recommend it to anyone. It's alot more logical and science-based than it sounds. Basically alot of common-sense about staying calm and letting your body do what it's designed to do.
Hi Brightonians and Hoveactuallyians - I'm currently in Bulgaria but coming back to Brighton to have my first baby in April (back in Feb - due in April).
I'm also new-ish here.
Will there be another meet up in the New yr does anyone reckon? It'd be good to meet some mumsnetters in Brighton when I'm back as none of my friends have babies and I will probably bore them all!
