Just moved to the area and looking for a friendly nursery in notting hill for my little one who is two. I have looked at a few that were the best part of £100 per day and then came across Denbigh under fives which is a fraction of the cost. Can anyone recommend it, please? It seems quite sweet.

Hi there and welcome to the neighborhood! My family moved to the area back in September and we were also looking for a nursery. I had a list of a handful of nurseries in the area, all ranging in fees. I made several phone calls and ultimately started to schedule visits. For whatever stroke of luck, Denbigh Under Fives was my first stop. I spoke to the head teacher, Liliana; observed the class for nearly 2 hours; and frankly, made my decision to enroll our son before I even left the nursery.
The teachers are engaged and the children are incredibly happy! I am always amazed at how many creative activities and outings they have planned. The teacher to student ratio is phenomenal. Most importantly, my son is incredibly comfortable with all of the staff.
I know they have space right now as well given that a fair number of their children have since left for primary school. Liliana is incredibly passionate about the nursery and cares for each of the children as if they were her own. We feel really fortunate to have found Denbigh! It is a precious nursery! Please let me know if you have any questions. I'd be happy to chat with you more about our experience if that would help. I know how daunting the decision can be.
