Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

Green Day - urgent!

(18 Posts)
I am not joking:

I have just won 2 guest list places to Green Day's soundcheck at the LG arena in, like, 2 hours time.

And DH is on a business trip.

Does anyone want the spare place?

Feck, I have to go and get ready. Wish I'd washed my hair this morning!

DP, will I still go!!??? You 'avin a laff?!

Yeah, the whole working/distance thing is an issue. Guess Kerrang was aiming the comp at kids on half term - I was lucky PILs could drop everything and come over to get DD (who would love to go, but I think it may be a bit loud for a 2yo!)

There will probably be kids queuing outside by then, I will ask one of them maybe.
oh wow....that's fantastic..!

i would have deffo taken you up on it....but i'm in London.....

will you still go..?...

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
