When i was in 6th form we used to bunk off to the local macdonalds( for coffee)
The manics used to alwys be up there nursing coffees - this was before they were famous.
Nicky wire used ot sit there in a dress and make up, looking a bit silly realy.
WE used to think they were right wierdos...

I saw one of there early gigs in Swansea, they were dreadful.
Completely off their faces, one of them think Nicky Wire was so wrecked he fell off the stage.

Well I used to live in the road just from the Manics. I have moved recently. Nicky and wife Rachel lived about 2 mins from me in Newport. Always used to see Nicky wearing his sunglasses down to the paper shop and walking his dog. Rachel used to go to local toddler group too.
