We've been asked by a team of researchers from the Institute of Social and Economic Research at Essex University to find Mumsnetters to complete their short survey. They say "we are interested in many aspects of babycare and child development, and are using this survey to ask questions which many mainstream parenting surveys don't include. This survey focuses on the ways people feed and care for their babies"
The survey is open to all parents in the UK and they are asking you to answer thinking about one child - please think about the most recent child you've had.
Everyone who completes the survey and adds their email address at the end will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will get a £200 high street voucher. Once the survey is complete Essex University will send us the email address for the winner and we will post the winning MN nickname on winners' corner. They will send out the voucher.
All responses are confidential
Please complete the survey by clicking here
Thanks and good luck

Done
I'm looking forward to seeing the results of this study
Done. Seemed a bit odd saying that I only gave DD 2 feeds today - but then she is 2!
The survey crashes on me whenever I try to enter any typed answers. (Am on my mobile). When I click on the link again it takes me back to where I was, but the same thing happens again.
Hmm not sure by answering on my last child it gives an accurate impression
I did - it called for all Parents but really it's focused on breast feeding which is a little hard to do as a dad!! But I answered on behalf of DW.

Done. I felt they needed to split out HVs and community midwives rather than put them on the same line for how useful they were.
I agree, the fact is it about most recent DC doesn't give a fair representation of my thoughts to on demand feeding, due to having been through all that with PFB!

Keeps crashing on me too. Will try later and hope it's third time lucky. Could really use the cash

Not asking which number child you're answering for and how many you have and what ages strikes me as a significant flaw in this research.
