We've been asked by Sainsbury's to find out all about the back to school uniform buying experiences you have.
The survey is open to all MNers who have at least one child of school age who wears school uniform.
Add your details at the end and you will be entered into a prize draw where one lucky winner will get a £250 Sainsbury's voucher.
Here's the link to the survey
Many thanks

done and a wee chortle at stationary question
Do you think I need to go back to school Random?!
Done, but I kept getting an error message when I tried to select my location as 'Wales' so had to choose SW instead - could someone at MNHQ amend for me please?
Does anyone really spend 24+ hours a week dealing with uniforms? <mind boggles>
done. they need a box for other comments. so if you're looking sainsbury's i have lots!
they never have uniforms in 3-4 for nursery children who dont all start in september.
i can never find the right sized pumps except in september and they're always to dark to name.
stores could check colours of local schools uniforms. there are several that wear blue here but there only seem to be red and yellow polo shirts and dresses left.

Done! I've just totalled up the amount I spend on uniforms throughout the year for that question and blimey I didn't realise it was so much!
And I buy most of it cheap in Asda or Tesco!
Done
I answered generally, not specifically for this year when I have had to spend about £200 on DS's new uniform

Done but would like to have more opportunity to say how they could be improved - better seams, double knees etc. I am forever patching Ds's trouser knees otherwise we would have to have a new pair of trousers every week!

yy - I never usually add 'done' on a survey page but since there was no 'comments' box, can I point out a demographic that Sainsbury's seems to think doesn't exist -
skinny TEENAGE BOYS!!!
Too small for men's, too tall for age 12s.
I have a mahoosive all-singing all-dancing newly revamped Sainsbos near me with a mega clothes bit - where boys go up to 12, apparently. And then.......?
Done - MrsKitty - weird glitch I think.
done. My children are quite petite and they never seem to have enough of the smaller or 3-4 age uniforms to fit

Done - but I answered presuming that didn't include school shoes which is by far the most expensive bit of school uniform I buy.

As scrappy says I wasn't sure whether or not survey included school chose - which in my experience are the only hard/expensive bit to buy
Done. DS grows so slowly we get 2 or 3 years out of uniforms. He's in Y5 still in his Y1 PE shorts!
Also amazed anyone would spend over a day a week sorting uniforms, my DCs wash and fold their own uniform, so I spend maybe a couple of hours a year labelling and turning up/down trousers.
Also, I was lucky enough to get both the Trutex and Matalan school uniform tests last year, so haven't paid for uniform for a couple of years now

Done.
I would be interested to know the most anyone spends on uniform as the highest option doesn't even come close to what we spend.
