Happy new year everyone - now it's a new year we have a new survey for you!
We've been asked to find out what you think about energy providers and the cost of the gas and/or electricity you use in your home.
It doesn't matter if you do or don't look after the bills in your home - the survey is open to all UK MNers. Please note that some of the questions in the survey focus on gas and electricity - if you don't have either of those at home (e.g. if you use oil or solid fuel), we'd still like you to take part as the rest of the survey will still apply to you - please just tick 'not applicable' for the questions that don't apply to you.
Please click here to take part in the survey.
Everyone who takes part will be entered into a prize draw where one winner will receive a £250 Amazon voucher.
Thanks and good luck with the prize draw!

I hope it gives some food for thought to the people who see it.

That's a good survey, I enjoyed doing that one. [geek]
Done, I felt a little smug that I had taken every single energy saving measure in the list (although since that involved being cold rather than put heating on, perhaps I should feel ashamed

Done. Grateful for a warm winter, although our heating is done by oil (which you could have included).
Done, but where's the section for those using oil?????? I've just topped up my tank and been robbed, again........<sigh>
Only gas and electric included, no space to put other forms of heating such as oil, lpg or solid fuel. I felt a bit odd ticking all the measures for insulation/bill cutting then ticking the box for "not at all worried" because actually our costs for the fuel are really low as our system is very efficient!
Done. I think it's my turn to win something. I saw it on a spreadsheet somewhere...

Done. I had to write an extra measure - we haven't installed proper double glazing as we can't afford it (and it's not our house anyway!) but we used a temporary plastic thing from Robert Dyas, called stormshield or something? You put it over the whole window so it acts as double glazing. Saved heaps of money last year.
