They say "NHS Choices is planning to improve the information we offer to new parents. We would like to know the key questions you have about pregnancy, childbirth and caring for small babies. Please tell us about any questions that you have no matter how silly or embarrassing they may seem. It can be anything at all from 'How can I avoid stretch marks?' to 'What is the safest position to lay a baby down to sleep?'"
"It doesn't matter if you know the answers to the questions or not - it's just your questions that we want to collect so we can make sure we have the answers next time someone asks. Thank you for agreeing to help us with this important research. On completion of the survey your name will be entered into a draw where one person who completes the survey will win a £250 John Lewis voucher"
So please take a few minutes to add your views to their survey - add your email address at the end to be entered into a prize draw to win a £250 John Lewis voucher - please note the survey is being promoted via other channels so it may not be a MNer that wins. I've done the survey, but am a bit confused - why arethey asking us what questions we've got without even prompting what they might be?
They could have put the questions in proper categories:
like
morning sickness/tiredness
where the birth will happen
midwives' appointments
scans
feeding
etc, then it would be easier to work out what questions to ask.

Thank you all for your comments. Just to give a bit more context, NHS Choices is the online 'front door' to the NHS. The site www.nhs.uk provides a wealth of information on healthy living, health conditions, finding local health services and has an interactive pregnancy planner as well as lots of information about pregnancy and looking after small babies. We are looking to expand the information that we offer to parents and the purpose of this survey is to explore the questions that parents need answers to so that we can go away and develop ways of answering those questions in the most informative way. It doesn't matter what your questions are or whether they are related to healthcare specifically, it is just the actual questions that we are interested in. For example, I have a 14 month old daughter and the questions on my mind are a) are there any benefits of giving formula instead of cows milk at this age? b) should I pay to get my daughter vaccinated against chickenpox? c) when to buy proper walking shoes?
Once we have collated everyones questions we will explore ways in which we can provide answers which are both easy to find and in an easily digestible format.
Thanks for all those who have completed this survey so far, I hope this post helps to explain what we are trying to get out of this
Good for you for coming on and explaining Gemma 
. I think you'll get a lot of the answers you need by trawling the questions that come up on pregnancy, health and behaviour and development a lot quicker than the survey, and a better idea of the concerns around the questions. Although I am happier with the survey, as at least we get bribed with a JL voucher lottery

Thanks for your feedback Honeydragon , we will also be going through websites and forums to get a real understanding of the questions and the issues that surround them. This trawl will sit alongside the results of the survey to give us a comprehensive picture

I lost the will to live after page two. Even before then I was scraping the barrel to think of five questions I had about each stage, so most of my questions weren't actually real concerns. I don't really want to know when my baby will roll over for the first time, I just wanted 250quids worth of JL vouchers.

I used it as an opportunity to ask about nuchal testing, miscarriage tests and strep b as not all are offered on the nhs. I also put in questions about breastfeeding and the correct way to make up formula just incase it resulted in some changes. plus I want the vouchers

I think it was a good survey! Will give NHS Choice a good range of questions and an idea of the most common ones. There was a back button on mine.
Another voucher ho here too.
A puzzling survey. Have 4 DCs and struggled to really think of any questions. The only ones I filled in were in relation to breast feeding and support from day one. Ie where the hell is it ? <the only pertinent question for all of my babes>

TBH I found it hard to remember my specific questions at each stage.
After having 4, I didn't really have any questions and IME, the latest preg is the easiest to remember.
I did manage to think of some but certainly couldn't put 5 in each section.
Ah well....
