Presumably their idea of a year's supply is for a couple with 1 clean & dainty daughter

misdee Mon 24-May-10 19:47:18

oh the years supply of fairy dishwashing liquid?

bibbitybobbityhat Mon 24-May-10 19:49:07

Ponders, you need to get with the programme, it wasn't washing powder, it was Fairy Liquid for dishes, see? Coderoo got it mixed up with Persil (twice). Presumably coderoo has dishwasher, so imagine how short changed she would feel if she had to do ALL her dishes by hand.

She should complain to Fairy. Then sue. Then call ss. And shop them to benefits hotline.

The washing machine repair man from Darty who came to replace the carbon brushes two weeks ago told me that when Darty calculates the lifespan of a washing machine, they reckon on three washes per week shock

Ponders Mon 24-May-10 19:53:56

oh it's washing-up liquid, bibbity?????

That would be about 3 bottles a year in this house - how many bottles did they think you should use, cod?

Coderooo Mon 24-May-10 20:17:58

On three a day here! I do like to vary me programmes

brimfull Mon 24-May-10 21:32:29

you use dishwasher 3 times a day !!

You know you aren't meant to eat it don't you? wink

Just because it's french for parsley does not mean you should sprinkle it on your supper!

At least you have recieved your fairy envy
I however never recieved mine and have given up all hope of it arriving

AlaskaNebraska Sun 13-Jun-10 15:56:06

yes still motoring through it
think i have two or three left

Me too, only have 2 left now.
Am wondering if it is churlish to say that my years supply isn't a years supply?

I have a dishwasher too, but only a half size one, it goes on once or twice a day.

Maybe you shoudl start a thread titled 'fairy' though, nobber.

Oh and it was 6 weeny bottles of fairy.
I get through 12 big bottles a month normally....
I think they are overestimating the power of fairy tbh. I use a small amount (trying to be frugal) and the bubbles fuck off after a few minuts meaning I have to add more and do the hand swishy thing. veyr boring.

My fairy isnt going to lsat a year either. sad But it does make the dishes so shiny, like it used to say in the ads smile
