Please may I garner votes here for a MNLW with Derren Brown?

(23 Posts)

His Svengali tour finishes in a week, and all the stuff we've been understandably asked to keep Mum about can then be openly discussed (I think confused).

Sounds like a fine time to get him in.

Please add your vote if you'd like to see the sexpot wonder that is DB talking live be still our beating hearts to us.

yes please.

One vote.

How many do I need to seal the deal MNHQ?

SybilBeddows Mon 11-Jul-11 21:04:34

we need Derren to manipulate their subconsciouses by putting up posters that say 'Live webchat' in brown and stuff like that.

Ooooooh my good lord yes! Please! I love him. I want to lick his earlobes <<dropkicks Chaos out of the way>>

See I'm just far more restrained than you BelleEnd.

I just want to gaze at him and strike his goatee.

You have my vote!

We saw Svengali last week.

I get the impression that he is deeply uninterested in little children, so it would be great to have an utterly un-parenting-related webchat.

(BTW dh says DB swings the other way, possibly out of jealousy, as I, too, think him fairly delish.)

Yes please smile

Can he give us some toddler mind control tips?

BelleEnd Mon 11-Jul-11 22:20:53

Yes PrettyCandles, he is gay. But I'm sure I could do a little conjuring of my own... <does weird hypnosis dance moves with hands in hope of growing a willy>

Oh I heart him. Saw Svevgali last week too. DP has his book but it's mahoosive, I keep meaning to download the Kindle version.

I saw him nonchalantly standing outside a cafe unnotived before the show last week. He is lovely.

Er, in other words, a yes vote.

Yes from me too. But I guess he'd already know I'd say that.

Ooh, yes! I had a dream about him, once. It was all very complicated, but basically he dumped his boyfriend for me & we had our first kiss on a pier & it was just wonderful. <<swoons>>

Yes I loved his work on the charlatans in america doing spiritual healing. Yes yes.

We have a dozen yeseseses.

Is that enough?

(I think I really need a sticky.)

Ooh, I think so. Thanks for the suggestion and we'll see what we can do. Nancy at MumsnetHQ will be beside herself if we manage it. We'll let you know how we get on.
