I am a singe parent to 3 DS (13,6,&4) and I am 36+5 with twins. I am being induced in 9 days and am in a total flap. How am I going to manage? Has anyone else done this single handed?

It'll be tough but you're used to 3 dc already. My dtds sleep better than dd1 ever did plus will the other 3 be at school. I find the days when dd1 is at nursery (2 days a week) are wonderful as I don't feel guilty about not having time to play with her and can get to know dtds. Get loads of meals in the freezer! You'll be fine - busy, but fine x
I haven't but one of the mums at twin club has and she is amazing. You will be as well.

I know a twin mum, who even though she has a dp, is pretty much doing it all by herself, and doing fine. The Gina Ford twin book (Contented House with Twins, I think its called) has routines based on doing it all by yourself - even if you don't like the whole GF/strict routine thing it might be helpful just from a practical point of view. Plus I'm sure your babies will be well entertained just watching your other children. You already have plenty of mum experience - you'll be MORE than fine. Good luck x
Thank you for the replies. I will find out tomorrow how I will cope as I m going in to be induced and consultant thinks I will be home for tea time fx
