Ive just found out my very close friend had her 4th baby but he didnt survive, any idea's on what I should do or say, in a card, do i send a gift/personal????

if shes v close I'd make it clear you're there to talk help if she needs you, without pestering her (as i'm sure you won't!)

oh no, that's so awful. the main thing i'd say is that she will need help and support for a very long time after this. i imagine there will be a rush of sympathy and support for the first few weeks, and then it will tail off and she'll have to "get on with things." she may hit a real low in a few months time, so keep asking how she is or letting her know you're there for her if she wants to talk. that would be my advice, but only from the point of view of someone who's had repeated early miscarriages, not a still birth which is obviously very different
