Recipe of the week

penguinmum's creamy fish pie: smoky, seasonal fish in a creamy white sauce with grated, rather than mashed, tatties on top - a meal of the highest comfort-food order.

Hi again,

Thanks for your messages smile
I'm pretty sure I'm mc now, had heavy bleeding last night and more tummy pain.
I read something someone had written on here - not sure where - but it said something along the lines of: everything that you had been planning in your head, all the little details of being pregnant and then having a baby are just gone when the mc starts.
I know I was only 5 wks pregnant but I couldn't help it, thats exactly what I was doing! Thats what makes me feel so sad sad
I'll let you know how I get on tomorrow xxxxxxxxx

Glad to hear we've helped in some way. So sorry to hear you may be mc'ing. It's rotten, especially if it's not immediately clear what's happening. I hope you get some answers soon.

Hi everyone,
this is my first post on this site but I've been having a look about for the last week or so.
Just wanted to let you know I've found it really helpful reading this part of the forum.
I started what I think is a mc a week ago, not long after I found out I was 5 wks pregnant. I'm still having bleeding but my doc is doing a pregnancy test in 2 days, then if its positive I've got to go for a scan on Monday. I (obviously?!)couldn't wait for my doc to do the test so have done one myself which is still (very faintly) positive. hmm
Anyway, my point is the waiting around for tests and scans is constantly on my mind and I've found just reading thru older posts here really helpful, even tho the comments weren't for me I'd like to say thanks! wink

Emphasis: To bold a word, surround it with asterisks, so *hello* will display hello. For underline use _ , so _hello_ gives hello. For italics use ^, so ^hello^ gives hello. To strike out a word, surround it with two hyphens either side, so --dog-- gives dog

Links and smileys: To insert a smiley face, , type [smile] or :)
For a big grin, , type [grin] or :o
For a wink, , type [wink]
For a shocked face, , type [shock]
For an angry face, , type [angry]

For a sad face, , type [sad] or :(
For an envious face, , type [envy]

Links The simplest way to insert a link is to enter the link itself, surrounded by [[ and ]]. So if you type [[www.mumsnet.com]], the link will display as http://www.mumsnet.com. If you want your link to display text other than the web address itself, leave a space after the address then add the text before the ]]. So "Look at [[www.mumsnet.com this page]]", would display "Look at this page".
