Hi was wondering if anyone is in a similar position to me. Have had 6mcs and no dc. Currently attending St. Mary's under prof Regan but all tests so far are clear just waiting on results of a biopsy. Don't know where to turn next? Not getting any younger 38 in a few weeks. Have been having these problems since I was 31..

So sorry to hear your news. I am having another mc at the moment too. It's rough. I was wondering how you got referred to St Mary's as I would like some tests too. My doctors are not overly helpful:0(

Hi missb2, I live in Ireland and was paying private 4 my consultant, who let me down, but anyway I asked him to refer me to Prof. Regan, he could only get me a nhs appointment, Thank God! Took from May to August to get appointment. So not long. How many MC's have u had?

Sorry that you are going through this. It is horrible and soul destroying MissB2.

irishhope I have not been to St Marys I got fed up with the local recurrent miscarriage clinic saying there was nothing wrong and then miscarrying again. I ended up seeing Mr Shehata privately he tests for Natural killer cells-something that St Marys doesn't do. I am not saying that is your problem but I felt something was wrong or why else would I keep miscarrying healthy babies. It may give you something else to look into. There are other clinics that do test for it.

Hi Irishhope,

I'm so sorry for all your losses.

I've had 2MMCs and 1MC all after seeing heartbeats, but am fortunate to have had 1DS before this horrendous chapter of my life started.

I've been seeing Dr Raj Rai under Prof Regan at St Marys Paddignton for the last 6 months. LIke you, all the bloods came back clear and last week I had a hysteroscopy as they suspected a subseptate uterus but that was normal too (I would rather been abnormal and have an answer to treat!). So I've just been given the green light to TTC once more which is so scary and I just feel in my heart I am heading for another MC.

I've just signed up to meet Zita West since I feel I've exhausted the "medical" route I'm going to try the alternative stuff- acupuncture, hypnosis etc. It can't hurt and at least I will feel I'm doing something different this time round...
I'm considering having the NK test with her too...

Not sure if any of that was helpful, but I feel for what you are going through and truly hope you get some answers and support before you face getting pregnant again x
