Hi guys I had a miscarriage in December and I am now pregnant again. I have been having HCG levels done and yesterday they had doubled. I have woken up today to a complete loss of pregnancy symptoms.
I know this is not a good sign. Im only 5 weeks Ive got to go to work but Im just sitting here not knowing what to do or where to go.
I feel devastated that chances are Im going to lose this baby to. Im only 25 with 2 children and this is a much wanted baby.
Why does this keep happening to me? has this happened to anyone else and had a happy outcome? Or not? Please help me Im scared.
(breast tenderness is the main symptom that has gone)

Don't panic.
By 5 weeks I didn't have many symptoms with either of my pregnancies tbh but by 7 weeks I had hyperemesis with ds, I still had days / hours when I felt 'not pregnant'. This is nornal. I have asked a lot of midwives, they all assured me it was absolutely fine and totally expected.
No-one can ever say 'yes your baby will be fine' at any stage of pregnancy and yes, that is very very very hard to deal with but you have to relax and put your faith in something that it will be ok.
I had pregnancy symptoms come and go both times I was pregnant and had 2 healthy babies.

Don't worry - I know that is easier said than done - I had a mmc in april and this pregnancy (am now 13 weeks) each time I felt better I went into full blown panic it had all gone wrong.
After having fairly convincing symptoms from around 3.5 weeks to 4.5 weeks, I then had fairly intermittent symptoms till around 6 weeks and then felt terrible 24/7 till 9.5 weeks when they then started coming and going again. They do come and go and in hindsight I wish I had enjoyed and made the most of the days feeling 'normal' but instead I spent them worrying!
Thankyou so much for replying you do not know how much better I feel just from hearing from you lovely ladies.
Im always over whelmed by the support on these forums.
I hope its nothing and will come back tomorrow or something but if not I will go to the doctors again monday just to check levels again. Thankyou again x

5 weeks is early. i never had any real pregnancy signs until 6/7 weeks
I didn't even know I was pregnant and five weeks and that was with my third! It is very possibe that the symptoms will come and go. Five weeks is very, very early. Good luck, I hope everrything goes well.
Sorry for typos. Am hungover
I have had brown discharge this afternoon but now its stopped again. Im very confused about it all.
I did have discharge with my first son and he was obviously fine. I wonder if the EPU would see me tomorrow or is it still to early?

I'm 5 weeks too and have had 2 miscarriages before this pregnancy. I always feel symptom free in the morning but it all returns later in the day. by all i mean swollen belly and boobs, feeling a bit tired. none of the symptoms are overwhelming and I don't have nausea but 5 weeks is very early still.
Know what you mean boobs seem tender again tonight but hardly anything all day. No more spotting so far this evening so fingers crossed I did do one those clear blue digis tonight and its still saying 3+ weeks so just have to try and not think about it which is so hard when you have miscarried isnt it xx

yeah it is, every twinge makes you paranoid and every toilet visit means obilgatory checking of knickers / tissue. I hope you'll be fine, I'm sure you will be xx

Ps - Epu may see you but it's too early to see a heartbeat and too early for a normal ultrasound, it would need to be an internal scan. they'd probably do blood test to measure your hcg and measure it again 2 days later, that's the most reliable at this point I think x
