You do that hunny x

I might have to! grin will sort it when home, boss got stuck on dodgy trains so I'm at work still (the kids are eating dinner, so not neglecting them whilst browsing mn wink)

MABS Thu 10-Jan-13 07:19:32

good idea Confused Pixie - you start a new one?

I think it should happen, whether it's Big or not! grin I was thinking of starting a Brighton thread the other day even though it's been only just over a month since the last Brighton meet!

MABS Mon 07-Jan-13 11:28:35

this happening SirBoob? when?

MrsJingleBells74 Fri 07-Dec-12 11:41:30

I'll do my best. Was only thinking about this recently as I rashly promised to host a baked goods meet in the new year. I will still play host if there's sufficient interest but don't want to step on any toes.

I'm a 'possible' depending on dates as a mate of mine normally does an unmissable Burns Night party at the end of January.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered Wed 05-Dec-12 10:34:55

Yeah, same here. I'm away in the middle of Jan. as well.

I'm up for spring - I'l barely be over Chrimbo by the end of Jan!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered Tue 04-Dec-12 23:25:23

Thank you married.
I think I mentioned the event randomly, and should have confirmed with people who I thought had offered help before posting about it.
Then it was picked up and mentioned at the local meet-up and was the first poor Boobster had heard of it! But here she is valiantly rising to the challenge blush.
No reason not to do both ...

marriedinwhite Tue 04-Dec-12 22:14:41

Glad you got there before me Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered - that was what I thought too. Definitely in the Spring when Frank's on the mend. I may have lost the plot a bit because I couldn't make 1st December and slipped out of the loop.

MABS Tue 04-Dec-12 18:09:00

i can't do 26th , but you have great time

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered Tue 04-Dec-12 17:24:30

Um, sorry, I appear to have caused some confusion by muddling you up with someone else SirBoob.
When FrankWippery had a thread about finding that she isn't well, marriedinwhite, I think, suggested that when her treatment was over, we should have a celebration meetup, in Brighton because Frank had mentioned that she liked it. I can't find the thread.
Anyway, that was where I was roped in. That was why springtime was mentioned, and lots of people said they'd love to come to Brighton.
Frank did say she would love it so I was thinking of asking her in the New Year when she would like it and what sort of thing - fish and chips under the pier was suggested!
So I will be sticking to that plan!
The idea seems to have got run away with and you seem to have been lumbered. Sorry.

SirBoobAlot Tue 04-Dec-12 15:48:45

Right, 26th it is! grin

ElectricSoftParade Tue 04-Dec-12 15:43:23

Oh yes please! Been too skint to attend the last few but will squirrel away a few pounds and come along. 26th would be grand for me. Thanks Sir

EveryYuleKnows Tue 04-Dec-12 15:40:03

Think you are right - and will give us something to look forward to in post xmas blues grin

SirBoobAlot Tue 04-Dec-12 15:08:58

Okay. Thinking maybe it would be more practical for everyone to aim for the 26th to organise child care etc..? Though I'm easy, so don't mind.

EveryYuleKnows Tue 04-Dec-12 14:40:42

12 and 26 are best for me.

SirBoobAlot Tue 04-Dec-12 14:24:38
