12 and 26 are best for me.

SirBoobAlot · 04/12/2012 15:08

Okay. Thinking maybe it would be more practical for everyone to aim for the 26th to organise child care etc..? Though I'm easy, so don't mind.

Um, sorry, I appear to have caused some confusion by muddling you up with someone else SirBoob.
When FrankWippery had a thread about finding that she isn't well, marriedinwhite, I think, suggested that when her treatment was over, we should have a celebration meetup, in Brighton because Frank had mentioned that she liked it. I can't find the thread.
Anyway, that was where I was roped in. That was why springtime was mentioned, and lots of people said they'd love to come to Brighton.
Frank did say she would love it so I was thinking of asking her in the New Year when she would like it and what sort of thing - fish and chips under the pier was suggested!
So I will be sticking to that plan!
The idea seems to have got run away with and you seem to have been lumbered. Sorry.

MABS · 04/12/2012 18:09

i can't do 26th , but you have great time

marriedinwhite · 04/12/2012 22:14

Glad you got there before me Bewitched Bothered and Bewildered - that was what I thought too. Definitely in the Spring when Frank's on the mend. I may have lost the plot a bit because I couldn't make 1st December and slipped out of the loop.

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 04/12/2012 23:25

Thank you married.
I think I mentioned the event randomly, and should have confirmed with people who I thought had offered help before posting about it.
Then it was picked up and mentioned at the local meet-up and was the first poor Boobster had heard of it! But here she is valiantly rising to the challenge Blush.
No reason not to do both ...

cat · 05/12/2012 09:06

I'm up for spring - I'l barely be over Chrimbo by the end of Jan!

BewitchedBotheredandBewildered · 05/12/2012 10:34

Yeah, same here. I'm away in the middle of Jan. as well.

SolidGoldYESBROKEMYSPACEBAR · 05/12/2012 12:02

I'm a 'possible' depending on dates as a mate of mine normally does an unmissable Burns Night party at the end of January.

MrsJingleBells74 · 07/12/2012 11:41

I'll do my best. Was only thinking about this recently as I rashly promised to host a baked goods meet in the new year. I will still play host if there's sufficient interest but don't want to step on any toes.

MABS · 07/01/2013 11:28

this happening SirBoob? when?

ConfusedPixie · 09/01/2013 22:33

I think it should happen, whether it's Big or not! Grin I was thinking of starting a Brighton thread the other day even though it's been only just over a month since the last Brighton meet!

MABS · 10/01/2013 07:19

good idea Confused Pixie - you start a new one?

ConfusedPixie · 10/01/2013 18:52

I might have to! Grin will sort it when home, boss got stuck on dodgy trains so I'm at work still (the kids are eating dinner, so not neglecting them whilst browsing mn Wink)

MABS · 10/01/2013 20:04
