Hive mind- post your Greek yogurt tubs, front and back, so we all know what they look like and their carb contents! Simple.

Yeo Valley Super Thick creamy yogurt. Only 5% fat but also only 3.5g carbs. A good alternative if you're not sure about plain yogurt (or a gateway drug to the delicious solidity of 10% fat Greek)!

Sainsbury's Taste the Difference Authentic Greek Yogurt. 10% fat but at 4.1g of carbs I mainly avoid as most others are under 4g!

I've got the M&S one at the moment. It's tasty but is the highest carbs so far...

Not sure if this is the right place but thought I'd mention, I've started stirring a bit of psylium husk into my yoghurt. Leave it a few moments and it turns into what I'm calling mousse (not too much husk or it will go dry and crumbly). The change in texture also makes it taste creamier to me, less sour. I like it.

That Aldi one is pretty much the only one I dislike, which is actually really inconvenient as I shop there quite often. I'm hoping the Aldi Specially Selected one comes back into stock as I really liked that!

I'm keen to see the Lidl ones as on the odd occasion I go there I can never seem to work out which are the right ones!

This is what I have from Lidl- it’s Greek’style’ as that’s all they had when I last went.

We get ours from Milk & More. It's mild and delicious but carbs are a bit high. If I'm having it with berries I mix a bit of cream in.
I might try your tip DontGet, I could use the soluble fibre.

To be fair I prefer Greek "style" but avoid due to the carbs; at 4.6g on those last two, not actually that high!

Total FAGE 5% (sadly you don't see the 10% one now but avoid the 2% and 0% ones which are different coloured tubs)

Lovely, extremely thick, and only 3g of carbs per 100.

Have made some live yogurt ( got a maker from Lakeland sitting in the cupboard) with 900ml of single cream and a small spoon of live yogurt to start.
Really really thick and creamy- the single cream was 19.1 fat, 3.3 protein and 2.2 carbs per 100ml, 194 kcal
Made a big tub- thick and dollopy.
Bit of a hassle to make as you have to pasteurise, blend with stick blender as the fat can separate and cool as bit before put in maker for 8 hours. However, will last all week and find it tasty.
Will be doing another batch at some point.

Sorry typo- the cabs were 2.2 ( not 3.2)

I cant believe the greek style and greek are practically the same nutritionally, I used to just not bother with yogurt that week if they didnt have any of the FF greek.
Will they both be probiotic? I thought if it was it added so would be on the ingredients list and it doenst say so so I'm confused now.

I think so (not an expert) in fact as far as I can see their Greek is 1/4 cream whereas the Greek Style is all yogurt, so could even be better? I think in most shops there is a much bigger difference nutritionally between the Greek and Greek Style. It's usually much high in carbs, I actually prefer it but avoid generally for the same reasons you had been!

I used to love the Onken set yogurt which was delicious and suspiciously low in carbs. Then one size pack revised the nutritional content and eventually the rest followed. You'd think it was an actual science but seems pretty questionable really! I wonder if there's really any difference between them all?!

I love FAGE 5%, it's so mild and creamy.

What's really weird is that the small Greek style yoghurts in Lidl (in multi-packs) have the lowest carb count of their "Greek" yoghurts Confused at 4.3g but only 8.5g fat Confused

Iceland do a Lancashire Farm Greek (rather than Greek Style) one which is 10g fat but still 6.5g carbs, so best avoided!

Bought this as the only one at all suitable in Aldi and knew I'd run out before I could go elsewhere. Actually not that bad at 4.3g of carbs, 10g fat and tastes good!
