Have spent hours today on responding to ex's intrusive questions (how many nights per week does DP spend at my house? Provide a list of holidays taken in last 2 years, stating with whom and who paid for them etc etc) and digging out ancient P60s etc. I only raised four questions on his Form E, and his run to 14 points with numerous sub-clauses on mine
What was your court hearing like? Am I right to be dreading it? I only filed Form A because I waited over a year for him to agree to exchange Form Es and we've had the nisi since last July... more

I can only say well done for getting this far! I have been separated for nearly 5 years and sadly not yet divorced. Ex has lost interest since separating from his partner whom he was planning to marry. Sad really, they both deserved each other, I wonder if they will get back together? It seems likely my ex has not bothered to provide his solicitor with his latest address and phone number so I am stuck waiting!
Seriously, I didn't realise they could ask so many questions. Bloody hard work!

Sounds like my situation. Court hearing was wonderful! I enjoyed every second of the judge telling XH he was a knob wasting everyone's time and money
It was fairly casual and calm, nothing to be scared about.

Don't let him psych you out - he is playing mind games with you, a popular past time for those with controlling personalities, so don't feed into his addiction. Don't worry about it, just answer honestly and openly and I'm sure you will be fine.
