Berlin over Christmas

Hi there I wonder if anyone in Berlin could help me.

We'll be in Berlin on Christmas Eve. We're staying near Gesundbrunnen S-bahn station. I know things will close down, but would we still be able to get some food from noodle stalls or currywurst imbissstuben?

Also I know Berlin is fairly flat. When we were there in August, the biggest hill we came across was at the Mauerpark. We'll be bringing our sledges if there is enough snow. Are there enough slopes in Humboldthain Volkspark or where else, as near to Gesundbrunnen or on near an U-bahn or S-bahn or Strassenbahn stop?
