February is a dull month. Anyone fancy meeting for a drink or lunch or dinner?

Not a dull month for me...
DC2 due
DD's birthday
Most importantly MY BIRTHDAY
I don't think I'll be able to make it though - DH and I are planning on having one last night out in Paris in the next ten days together.
Does anyone know a good cinema (with comfy seats) where we can see The Artist, something a bit up-market if that exists?
Also does anyone know a good Japanese restuarant in Paris? We won't be going for ages, not until I am back at work. We have done Guilo Guilo in Montmartre and have been recommended Momoka, but other recommendations would be appreciated?
Sorry for the hijack - Enjoy your meet up.
Moi! Am around and alone during the first week of the school holidays and am busy planning my lovely free time, so yes, let's!
The Artist seems mostly to be on in VF... presumably you want VO?
Nice Jap - try Le Bizan in rue Sainte-Anne
thought the artist was without dialogue? Presumably doesn't matter too much whoich cersion you see...
I am around, depending on when you want to meet.

LOL at "nice Jap"!
There is a very good one near St Philippe du Roule (recommended by Japanese colleague) and another one that's not bad near Ternes.
Dates?

Maybe you should all meet up with the Belgian mumsnetter group, somewhere sort of half way like Lille!

Oh yes, that would be fun, Natation! Especially as I used to live in Tervuren!

Thanks for the recommendations.
Yes - there can't be VF/VOST of The Artist surely?!
Again, sigh, enjoy... I'll probably be in labour anyway while you're all sipping cocktails at The Bristol.

Keep me posted ladies - I have managed to offload two children during first week of holidays. I still have one but if she takes off with a friend I may be able to make a lunch.

Brioche, I live in the muddiest part of Maisons-Laffitte.
Oh yes, the horsey bit?
I confess I also own wellies...I use them to walk through the forest to get to the bakery

Walking through forest to bakery, that's new on me... to get your brioches, no doubt? Yes the horsey bit of ML... very "fragrant" in the summer, there's nothing quite like it (you have to love horses, and even then...).
Evenings getting booked as we speak. Not tonight for Schadenfreude, now I'm not avail Weds or Friday, quite unheard of but I am also galavanting those nights... so will happily join those of you who want to pronounce a time and place, and not to worry if you can't accommodate my schedule this time... (tho' of course it would be v nice to meet you.)
Tuesday evening or Thursday evening fine by me! In the Royal Monceau?

Thursday sounds good. Is the Royal Monceau the one on Hoche?
Yes, it is. Any time is good for me.
