Hello, my husband and I have had some problems over the past few years. I would like him to leave but he won't. What position would I be in re the family home if I left with the children? We have some equity in the home, it's in both our names. Would he have to buy me out? I saw a solicitor a couple of years ago who said I should stay but I can't remember why!
