Hey everyone.

Some advice needed pls........ I am separated from my girls' father (girls are 18 mths and 4yrs), who now has a fiance. Me and her have got on pretty well, all very amicable, see her more or less daily, without any problems. When I first split with the girls' father his contact was minimal, as I couldnt trust him with them. Since she's been on the scene and acting as a calming influence etc. his contact has increased massively, to even having them every other weekend for 2 nights. This morning his fiance had a bit of a grump over something with me which resulted in gripping me up and pinning me against a metal gate. Now..... bearing in mind i have always been a bit worried about his temper with the girls i am now petrified having seen this violent side of her. I know it doesnt sound much, but i know that in that moment if i'd tried to push her off me we would now be looking at abh. Their father is due to have them this weekend but i'm really not happy about it now. What would you guys do?????

Thanks in advance smile

Sam

What was it about? What actually happened?

Don't really know. If she behaves like that you should ensure that contact arrangements do not involve you both coming in to contact with each other. She also needs to be told that her conduct was unacceptable.

Presumably your daughters are enjoying their contact with their father, so I wouldn't stop it on the basis of what happened with his girlfriend.

I own horses and rent a field. She sub-lets a place from me, hence seeing her nearly every day. The issue was something to do with the horses, so nothing to do with the girls. I'm just glad the girls weren't with me to see it! It was a completely unprovoked attack - she had me as soon as i got out the car....
