Hi there, my partner and I have been under the Lister with a failed cycle but I want to get another opinion and have been recommended Colin Davies, has anyone else been to him? Thanks

Hi trying, yes I've seen him off and on for three years now. Initially for painful periods pre ttc but we're now seeing him for ivf. I also had a lap with him. I can't say enough positive things - he's not only incredibly knowledgeable/leading in all things fertility but he's very patient focused. During an ivf cycle he does all your scans, blood work, ec etc so you feel v well looked after. Between ec and transfer, he called me several times to discuss when best to transfer, any concerns/questions. unfortunately that cycle didn't work so we're starting again soon but I don't think I could be better looked after or have a doctor that cares more about the outcome - he is very invested in all his patients so I would recommend to everyone! He has great success rates too although doesn't like to focus on that as treats each case as an individual

Ahh thanks that's great to hear. We are after someone who is a bit more invested rather than feeling like we are a part of a massive conveyor belt. I can't find success rates like with other clinics but have heard great things from people.

You definitely don't feel like you're on a conveyor belt - he works independently but uses care London for lab, ec etc so a bit of a different set up but means he's a lot more hands on and tailors your treatment completely

Thanks for this I'm definitely going to go and see him. I've heard CRM are great too so that's a double whammy X

I'm his patient and I can't recommend him highly enough. He's a brilliant Diagnostician, gives you completely individualised treatment, will bend over backwards to get you the best result possible, and is a bloody lovely bloke

I have felt incredibly well supported both clinically and emotionally. I genuinely don't think I could be in better hands

When I have been in a panic he has seen me after clinic hours

He opened up the clinic specially on a Sunday to scan me as soon as he came back from holiday

He called me from his holiday to talk me through some blood test results

He moved around his schedule to get me in for an ERPC the same day

I don't know if we will get there eventually but I think if it is possible, we will get there with him

Two friends have left ARGC because they were unhappy with their care and are now being treated by Mr Davis

And yes the lab at CARE (as CRM are now called) are second to none. The embryologists are top notch

If you look at this video of a talk about fertility he did for GPs you will see he mentions his success rates as 68% clinical pregnancy rate. That's across all ages. That shits over most clinics

All your appointments (scans etc) are at his consulting rooms at the Princess Grace on Nottingham Place

EC and ET are at CARE London

If you were to have any gynaecological procedures (eg laparoscopy or hysteroscopy) these would generally be at the Princess Grace, although he does operate at The Portland as well
