Our hospital, where all three of mine were born admitted they were at fault and caused Elizabeth's CP. Look here DH is sure the hospital had something to do with DD1's CP, as she had a clear brain scan when she was a week old, had lots of problems, and they left her to desat, and go gray before giving her o2 and then at 13 months, was scanned and was found to have damage.

oh my gawd. That's my sister's local hospital - she had her first child there - 4 weeks early, he went into special care and she had trouble feeding him (because I imagine the suck reflex wasn't very strong). The paed came to see her on her ward (they had to do v nasty episiotomy to get him out) and told her he didn't think she was trying hard enough to breastfeed him and basically implied she was a useless mother. They also discharged her son from special care and sent him home with none of the medication he was on. When she took him to GP, they said, how much of the said medicine are you giving him because he looks like he's having none and when the GP realised what had happened he was absolutely amazed.

She now, point blank, refuses to go there and would rather drive miles in the opposite direction than ever set foot in it again.

i had my 1st daughter there. they induced me as my waters had gone but wasnt progressing fast enough, even tho when they induced me i waslready 3cms and not feeling contractions. the moinitor wasnt working, was reading contractions when i wasnt having any, wasnt reading when i was, they stuck a monitor on dd1 head to keep tabs on her. the midwife was awful, epidural didnt work, she stiched me after i tore with no pain relief even tho i tol;d her i could feel it.

need igo on.

dd2 i had at Lister in stevenage, and i want to go back there.
