Have a read of this from bbc.co.uk news this morning

Oops, no visible instructions for doing a link but you can cut and paste this -

news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/3912205.stm

Extract:
"No self-respecting small businessman with a brain in the right place would ever employ a lady of child-bearing age."

A range of fellow politicians were outraged, saying his views were terrifying and outrageous.

Mr Bloom, an investment fund manager from York, told journalists he wanted to deal with women's issues because: "I just don't think they clean behind the fridge enough".

"I am here to represent Yorkshire women who always have dinner on the table when you get home. I am going to promote men's rights," he added.

Personally, I'm pleased to see that there is someone supportive and representing women's issues in the European Parliament.

Now, I'm off to clean behind my fridge and to prepare dh's tea so it's ready for him upon his return from work!

Yeah-right!

The terrifying thought is that the UKIP party polled 16% of the vote in the Euro election, more than the Lib Dems. Along with the BNP that's 22% of the vote lost to extreme right-wing parties.

It is frightening how many voted UKIP - not even Kilroy Silk put them off

Well I would clean behind my fridge but being a weak woman I need a man to move it for me.
