hello, we have a four-year old son who we are thinking about home educating - we'd love to meet up with likeminded families in the area - we're based in blackheath/greenwich but we're happy to travel!

You may be able to find a group on edyourself or via HEUK

There are also a growing number of HE support groups on FaceBook and there is a Mumsnet FB Home Education Page, where we may ne able to point you in the direction of support if you join us. Do send a message to the admins though, if you apply to join.

hello tabster, i have have a son of the same age who i've just withdrawn from school. we're based in tower hamlets, so just over the river.

i'm just starting to explore home ed options but there is a newly set up yahoo group for tower hamlets home edders - search for 'homeeducationtowerhamlets' on there and it should show up.

if you'd like to meet up, perhaps we could take a visit to greenwich park one afternoon, or the maritime museum if it's raining?

I recommend joining the South London HE google group. There's lots of meet ups and stuff there
