TK Maxx are good for a rummage for home accessories - they have such a random selection it avoids looking like it all came pre-co-ordinated from the Next directory.
Otherwise I often look out for things when I'm on holiday at a place with more interesting shops, then it reminds you of your holiday too

Bit worried the stuff in there will be too expensive.
I love antique shops too but there are none locally and in the next biggest town they are expensive.

I like to dress my home with vintage finds if I can! I love antique fairs/ flea markets to find one of a kind items! I find it helps that I working towards a "theme" so for my living room I am going for a botanical inspired look with vintage prints etc. Google Etsy, it is a worldwide handmade market place online but has a HUGE vintage section, though it tends to be US based so shipping can be costly. Of course there is always EBay! Good luck!
