Something like this hanging from ceiling - you don't need to spray the branch, and you can buy sweet little feathered birds that you can sort of clip onto the branches.

What about some small individual plain coat hooks on the wall sticker branches so its like she's hanging her bag/ nightgown on a branch?

oh thanks everyoone, ive got a feeling this is goign to turn out really really good.
some of these things ive never even heard of
she would go mad for one of those fairy doors.
i shal def get one of them.
theres not enough space in the room for a playhouse in her room.
yes yes a little hedgehog would be brill
and some sort of branch with bird on it.
maybe i could use one of those funny looking xmas tress, you know the ones that look like bare twig, with some feathered birds and perhaps a bird box on the wall
like this too

That is all so cute.
I will have to persuade DD that she wants this instead of the pink horror she fell in love with that the previous little girl left. With the pink curtains its like being in a dayglo womb, with hello kitty leering at you.

good idea about the hooks, but the tree will be behind a midsleeper so not sure there will be space to hang things
These are all such lovely ideas which I am
Shamelessly stealing for when dd goes from our room and shares one with ds.
We have moved into a brand new conversion and he has only white walls with beige carpet and jungle bedding/curtains and ikea storage in primary colours as I couldn't decide what to do that would suit a boy and girl. When he is older he will go upstairs and the room will just belong to dd so this theme is perfect. So sweet!

No, the boys would never let me prize the Lego ninjago, dr who Daleks, & Simpsons posters from their walls.
Get them whilst they are still young enough to have no say

How funny I'm doing a woodland themed nursery for DS (due any day). Have a few bits from ikea- soft toys, quilt cover, fabric to make laundry bag. They also do a rug that looks like a river with stepping stones....though I love that toadstool rug.
Not On The Highstreet have some gorgeous prints with foxes/squirrels etc

dd could display her art in here, or something like this, could get her to do some woodland type paintings

rubyrubyruby I was blissfully unaware of skirting board fairy doors, but now I have to buy one, or two and I blame you
So cute and you can get little windows too. My DD would be so excited!

Right you lot, you must stop with the ideas, or you will solely be responsible for the extension.
Please send funds to ISeeSmallPeople's DD's new bedroom justgiving page, & I will sponsor a tame squirrel in her name, and build the 4 story extension I need to fit all this stuff in
