Hello.
Have you been doing any poncetastic prep for Christmas?
Do please post up some pics of your homemade decorations and/or homemade gifts for us all to gawp at.
Or, if your child has brought home (or made at home) any brilliant/endearingly wonky Xmas crafts, do take a snap and post them up too.

Oh I've got one.
The family of elves that live on our porch.
Aw, this thread died somewhat. Anyone got anything else to show?
Here's my pick from my 6 days of Christmas crafts so far...even if they look a bit more like starfish than snowflakes

Yay for Christmas poncing! Totally new to this, in a way, but kind of not. I guess I was an undiscovered poncer. I've been poncing away on Pinterest without even knowing I was doing it.

Bejaypers, I am feeling incredibly disorganised right now. I am tempted to send a photo of my liquor cabinet. It's all I have that is remotely Christmassey but none of it is home brewed.

I'm no crafter - these are from a kit bought for DD last Christmas. We sat together last weekend and started these. Needless to say, DD lost interest shortly after starting so I finished them. We like them!
Christmas Elf- very please with him! He'll be keeping an eye on my DS (age 7 months, never to early to start the Father Christmas bribery!)

Think you're a bit premature to be poncing Xmas just yet.
For the American mumsnetters, a bit of poncetasic Thanksgiving... Bread cornucopia
Wow, you lot are all so talented! The cakes! The bags! The advent stockings! I'm in awe <slinks off in shame for thinking my humble crafty efforts were any good>

Oh no! Not TWC again
Am loving all the Christmas goodies though!
Oh my, not Terry--'s crotch--!
Very impressed by Scuttlebug's bag.
I have done handmade gifts in the past. I wish I had photos of the crushed velvet retro ties I did for my brothers one year when I was about 17...they were quite something!

I have some bottles ready for the vodka ;)
I did make monogrammed santa sacks a couple of years ago. I'd just had DD that summer and had gone all homey homespun. However, I think the whole world has now we are all poverty stricken and in recession. I'm not sure what to make of it.
I did briefly consider housing a Turkey in the garden for xmas 2013, and growing all my own veg for xmas dinner but that was in a REALLY carried away moment.
I wish I could knit and do sewy things. Very well done everyone
How did you make yours work?
