Help! Stokke tripp trap - how to attach front bar?

Just bought a second hand stokke tripp trapp on eBay and got it home, only to find I can't attach the front bar (part of the old style baby set) to it. Can anyone that has this style please tell me how to get it on? Do I have to bend it into the holes? I might be able to do it with a LOT of force, but don;t want to risk breaking the bloody thing if there's a simpler way. Sure I'm being daft...

thanks!

I have this. It took me two hours to put up and attach the front bar (and that was with a friend helping me!). I'm afraid that I can't tell you how we did it in the end. A bit of force and a bit of easing it in I think. Good luck.

you need to loosen the screws on the chair a little, for it to slot into place, and then you tighten the screws.

bear in mind that new bars wont fit on old style chairs, and vice versa, so if it did not come with the chair, it might not be compatible

thank you! Will go and hunt down an allen key. Glad I didn't force it!

We have just bought a second hand tripp trapp chair with a serial number that suggests it was made in 2007. Does anyone know which baby set will be compatible?

We got our Tripp Trapp in 2006. The older style have the leather strap as the crotch strap, this is what ours has. From what I know the changes to the baby set were only made recently.
