Hi

Not sure what kind of job you're after or what kind of qualifications you have but for general information & advice you could try :

www.prospects.ac.uk

- this is the official careers web site for graduates here in the UK (includes advice on CVs, interviews etc)

www.direct.gov.uk/nextstep

- Next Step is the adult careers service in England

You could also try looking online for private careers advice providers who can write CVs for you etc ( although be aware that they will probably charge for this service).

You could also consider contacting recruitment agencies (again depends on what kind of work you want to do), they won't necessarily write the CV for you but may have the type of vacancies you're looking for.

One other thing, I don't know if you've ever lived in London but you may find it useful to do some research on the different boroughs to get an idea of how far you're prepared to travel etc ( assume you'll be moving to London).

Best of luck, hope this helps.

Hello,

Thanks for all information. Actually, I m working in IT Computer. But I wonder whether my english level would be enough to get a position in this field. I'm ready to get first another job where I can increase it easier and changed for another one.

Best regards

I think the best way to do it is being in London. It is not the easiest way but at least you are "sur place" and you can go for interviews....

I'm in software development and I used

Jobsite

and

CW jobs.

I think it's not exactly a problem you are in france. But they'll want to interview you in short notice. I have interviewed for London jobs in Hampshire. They usually do a telephone interview first. Then if I passed the telephone interview, I travelled up to London to do a face to face one. So you'd need to be able to have that kind of availability. But ofc I don't know if they'll reply to a french phone number?

It's 2008 when I looked, so it might not be the best sites now!

My DH say CW jobs as well
not reeds -
fish4jobs can be good as well.
Agree You would have to be prepared to come for interview - say that in your application and they would be unlikely to pay expeneses
depends on your technical skills and how much competion in your exact area of IT whether your english is good enough
it recruitment agencies would be good idea as well but don't know any specific ones
