Thanks guys. I had what felt like trapped wind yesterday, but I think the pain is dying down today, so I'm trying to keep calm.

It's such an unpleasant thing to have done, it makes it even worse when it actually causes pain where there wasn't any before!

I think the swabs can lead to crampiness - they checked you out properly and went where nobody usually goes.

Are you pregnant? If not, I would wait and see if it settles.

Don't panic! I've had that feeling.

After internals I often feel very crampy for a while after - can be a few hours to a few days but not a severe kind of pain. I find it varies at what stage of my cycle I'm at too e.g if my period is due I feel it hurts more.
If it continues I'd call and ask to speak to the GP.

Went to the docs yesterday after slight spotting at the wkd as worked my self up there was something terribly wrong.

She did an internal exam and had a poke and prod around and now this morning my stomach feels very uncomfortable, bloated and right side is sore. She said everything looked normal but took swabs to rule everything out.

I am now more panicky than ever that there is something terribly wrong. Anyone had this kind of pain before?

Thanks
