I have got an account, but I don't really know what to do with it! Only one contact on there who passed me the invite, but he's not someone I need to share info with really..

I can see how it would be great for work, but it'll be some years before they allow it at my workplace.

miamia DH sent me an invitation on Saturday and I finally got invited yesterday so you shouldn't be long. Unfortunately I can't invite anyone but we're going to see if we can get it set up for our Playgroup Committee.

I've had a bit of a play and think it looks as though it's going to be a great resource.

SO how do the people that invite you get an invitation?

I've applied for an invite for the next rollout - offered to bug report and everything. No idea how long it'll take though...

ineedacleaner... they invited specific people to test it eg developers etc and those developers invited their friends and then those friends invited their friends etc. Google really want to control the growth of it so that's why its all so restricted but at the same time, if your friends aren't on it then who would the developers test it with

Have just been sent a link to this online Wave guide - haven't looked at it yet, as I'm not sure if it'll just make me feel even more left out, but might be useful/interesting?

Oh and yes - saw photos. I need to remember to photo stuff myself. Refinished a chair as a present to a friend last month, completely forgot to get a picture (gah).

definitely avoid all links/sneak previews until you get an invite yourself! otherwise you'll be till yours arrives!

well done on the chair, was it difficult? i've got a beautiful old chair that has been banished upstairs by my dp until i recover it. bloody cat used it as a scratching post on one of the arms

How do you add contacts? I have Wave but don't really understand it yet. Think the issue may be that I don't really have anyone to chat to on it.
I've got invitations available... so anyone who wants one, let me know.

The contacts, as far as I can see, are people you know who also have GW. As its just a preview and they are still ironing out all the tech problems think it will be that way for a while until it is rolled out to the masses, the way Gmail was.
