iPhone software upgrade - yes or no?

Am I being silly about worrying about accepting v.5 of the iPhone software for my iPhone 4?

Should I or should I not?!

I've upgraded and not had any problems so far. But I am not techhy! One new thing is iMessage. If you are texting someone who is also on 5 then it sends the message over data rather than SMS. Other than that can't really tell the difference!

ive updated both mine and ds1's, ithey've been fine (mines is the 4 his is the 3). likw sam100 says, the phones know if the person your texting both are on the new system and the message comes up in blue not green.

Love the new update just make sure you back up your contacts properly beforehand, I know quite a few people that lost them all.

watching with interest, especially from anyone who's updated their ipads.

Yep, did my iPad tbe other day. No probs so far. Means you can access icloud, their newest thing. Not entirely sure how it all works but my dad has investigated it and gave it the thumbs up and is a right techno geek and anal about security and viruses etc. If he say yes, then I just do it!!

The other main change aside from iMessage is reminders and the new notifications. You can now swipe down from the top of the screen to see notifications.

Not 100% sure but it does also seem a teeny weeny more responsive than before. Could be my imagination though.
