Biting beetles in the raspberries.

I'm going to have to start wearing full protective clothing before I pick my raspberries. This year they seem to be inhabited by teeny little beetles that bite. I can feel the bite at the time and they come up like big mossie bites that then go a bit weepy. Never had this before and I've had my raspberries a long time.

Has anyone else come across these wee vicious beasties?

What do they look like? My raspberries have been full of those brown tailed moth caterpillars this year and they sting.

Little black things. Similar shape to ladybird nymphs but even smaller.

There was another thread about these. Little buggers. I've been bitten while weeding the blueberries.

I will try and find it.
