Starting out

Hi all,
This is my first message here but our first foster child arrived to stay with us just over a week ago! He is 9 years old and things have been going relatively smoothly so far - still just at the beginning but so many things to get my head around - especially as we don't have children of our own so a lot of what we are doing is kind of based on common sense!
It possibly hasn't helped that our Supervising Social Worker has been off sick and is now off on leave so hasn't been to see us but a quick word with her manager earlier in the week seemed to deal with some of the issues that were still outstanding.

Anyway, jut wanted to say hi and that I'm sure I'll be around a lot more with a lot of silly questions!
