Does anyone have a Marguerite Patten Recipe Card box - it's very old?

I need the fudge recipe out of it

I contemplated making some & now I can't find the recipe & I am desperate

It's the one with Apricots (7 Walnuts?) in

It has extra rich fudge , butter fudge and economy fudge. Then after the economy fudge is Fudge flavouringd - chocolate, coffee, fruit (it says add 6-8oz of fruit sultanas raisins chopped prunes figs etc just beofre the fudge reaches the soft ball stage.

butter fudge

30-35 mins temp 238 o f

1ilb sugar - granulated
4 tablespoon of water

2oz butter
12 tablespoon full cream sweetened condensed milk and flavouring

Put the sugar, water and butter into pan. Stir until the sugar has dissolved, then add the condensed milk and continue stirring until thorughly blended....continue as economy fudge

economy fudge

1ilb sugar granulated
1/2 pint milk
2oz marg
falvouring

Put ingred into a strong pan and stir until sugar has dissolved. BOIL steadily, stir occasionally, unitl the mixture forms into a soft ball when a little is droped into a cup cold water.

Remove from the heat and beat until the mixture starts to thicken. Pour into a tin greased with butter. When nearly set cut into neat piece with a knife.

Hi KatyMac found this thread as I was looking to find the recipe card for sticky ginger cake. I used to make this with my mum loads and loved it. I would like to make it with my daughters but cant find it anywhere. Do you have this one? if so could you let me the know the recipe please Many thanks

@CarolineakaGranny there are hundreds of recipes in the box you'd be better buying one from eBay
