Heavy periods months after implant removed

I had the Nexplanon implant removed in January and am now onto my 3rd period which is just as if not heavier than the other two were. I've had heavy periods since the birth of my DS but they now seen even heavier and I seem to be passing more clots and having to change extra super tampons every couple of hours (sorry tmi).

Has anybody else experienced this? Will they settle down any? Just looking for reassurance really
