I went in to chat about how they can help DD while she is doing ridiculous amounts of out of school activities

Really nice chat, lots of possible things to try; generally a good meeting

She can drop RE & do 1 less option in yr11

Actually that doesn't sound too good does it

It's a start. Maybe you'll need to give up some extra curriculars, too? My current year 11 has reluctantly given up 2 dance classes this term - there comes a time - she's chosen to concentrate on music. And Facebook.
