Eek.
I am used to paying 12-15 quid for a whole organic chicken, that might be about 1.5kg so equates to 30 quid/3kg.
I used to live on a Turkey farm & tbh, I didn't think their lives were that bad, but can't know what conditions any other turkey meat i buy might be in.

Yes it sounds right. Dh bought one last year and I was horrified, none of even like turkey that much I much rather have a nice organic chicken at less than a thrid of that,
I have told DH that and under no circumstances should he get one. He already has his bottom lip out. It's only the four of us FFS! I say more chocolates, fizz and mince pies instead

We have had chicken for the last few years and nobody seems to have missed the turkey. I diffinatly havn't all the leftovers.
