don't know how to work it out?

I worked 22.5 hrs week before my career break. I had 8 weeks off a year incl BH's

When I return due to needing to work school term time if I remain 22.5hrs and need 16 weeks off a year, how many hour a week will I be paid?

If I wanted to still get paid the 22.5 hrs a week how many hours would I need to work every week in the 36 weeks to get the 22.5hrs pay eqiuv over 52 weeks?

Well assuming you still have 8 weeks of holidays paid so you're actually over 44 weeks not 36 or are you including the 8 in the 36?

52 * 22.5 = 1170

1170 / 44 = 26.6 hours a week

If you work 22.5 hours a week for (52-8) 44 weeks of the year you would work 990 hours a year.

In order to get paid the same amount yearly but have 16 weeks off, you would need to work 990/36 = 27.5 hours a week.

I'm not sure what you mean about how many hours you get paid for a week? I think that you mean that at the moment you get paid for 990/52 =19 hours a week, and if you work 22.5 hours for 36 weeks of the year, you will get paid for 22.5*36/52= 15.5 hours a week.

I did work 22.5hrs a week. The normal holiday and BH time off is 8 weeks.

But when I go back I need to reduce my weeks to 36 a year so have all school holidays off.

So if I work 22.5hrs a week for 36 weeks...my employer pay the same amount over 12 months (for example as shhhGBTS states I get paid 15.5 hours every week).

But I really need to maintain the salary I had before career break (22.5 hours week and 8 weeks annual leave) but can only work 36 weeks a year. So will I have to work 27.5 hrs a week to maintaine the same as 22.5hrs pay I had previously?

I think you could work it out like this:

Annual Salary

Divided by

36 weeks

This gives you weekly earnings

Divide that by your hourly rate and you should get the number of hours you need to work.

22.5 x 36 = 810 hrs per year

are you paid every month ? = 67.5 hrs per month

22.5 x 44 = 990 per year

= 82.5 hrs per month (on your old hours)
