At our last parent meeting (october) with my DDs teacher she told us that she was scoring at 1b for national curriculum. Fine, I understand that. But then she gave us another "score" and I have no idea what this could be for. The score was 113....
Can anyone guess which test this is and tell me what a score of 113 means for a y1 girl?
thanks.

It could be a standardised score whereby all the results can be compared across the class, no matter each pupil's age. If so, around 100 is considered average. ( Around 90-110 is a guide for average). So 113 is nothing at all to be worried about!

(our last psych said that the standard deviation on these things had been changed, so anywhere between 80 and 120 would be considered the 'normal' range)

DD year one has just done some NFER tests - sounds like a score from those.
