Arrgh the shite bike saga continues...

Soo ebay dispute found in my favour and I was asked to return the bike to seller for a refund. I posted the bike, by parcelforce on Thursday (insured and with tracking number). Gave all details to ebay as per instructions.

Checked online last night to see that a delivery had been attempted, but "premises unoccupied". I therefore emailed the seller to politely remind them of the tracking number and that a second delivery was to be attempted today. Surprise ,surpise the second deliver has been attempted and again nobody there.

The guy is still selling bike frames on ebay so the address would appear valid as most of his stuff is collection only.

Parcelforce status now says they are returning the bloody bike to me

Where do I stand now? I dont want it, have nowhere to store it , I want my refund!!!

I did email the resolution people today after the first failed delivery and they sent a generlised email stating they could see I was making the effort, but no specific answer to my question "what happens if he wont take delivery?"

I am never going to get a bloody new bike at this rate

if they refuse it ebay consider they don't want it back and you will still get your refund

Hoping this is the case Fergoose. Bike was delivered back today - ironically the delivery guy was the same one who brought it before Christmas , and he remembered too Tis currently taking up too much space next to me

Ebay have not replied to my message sent this morning advising it was being returned and what next? Checking paypal the transaction looks no differant to when I paid it - I thought the money was held during disputes?

This has been soo bloody stressful, had to change my plans today to be in for the return. Has complelty knocked my confidence about using ebay

we had a similar issue with a parcel being refused back, ebay refunded us a few days later.

Lol, was just coming to update you all. Well have had emails from Paypal and Ebay confirming that they have refunded me all monies owed, which I have transferred into my bank account. Bike is here, no word from bastard seller. I am not inclined to make the effort to contact him, being as he has gone silent since i offered to pay for report on shite bike. Bike looking suddenly more attractive as a project if it has suddenly become a freebie
