Number two resonates with me, particularly on this site.
The amount of men I know who are the sole earners, become workaholics because they need to provide for their family and are missing out on their children.

I hope they don't regret it.

That is seriously thought provoking. For me the one that hits home is living the life that you want, not what others expect. Easier said than done.

I suggest that the people questioned in that "survey" most sincerely regretted not having a backbone or ever growing a pair.

I regret wasting so much energy caring what other people think of me. People who don't matter that is.

I'm beginning to stop caring and it's quite liberating.
