Anyone else thinking about going to this? My husband fancies taking our children (7 and 4) but I'm not sure. The video on the Lollibop website looks great but I'm worried that it will be packed and lots of activities that we need to pay extra for.
Did anyone go last year?

I haven't been but it does look great. It seems as though it's all free once you've bought your ticket.

See: What is Lollibop where it says "Plus once you have paid your ticket price everything is FREE (apart from food, drinks and gifts from our markets)".

We're up in Yorkshire, otherwise I'd be going myself.

I went last year and it was really good, you really didn't have to pay for anything apart from food and drink - although there were still queues.

I'd really recommend it, in fact am buying my tickets now - thanks for the tip on wish4ticket, joey0182

we went last year took our 2 kids one was under 1 at the time and all had a brilliant time. my DS was totally awe at meeting Bob the builder and watching Zing Zillas on stage and there was ample baby change and feeding areas and even though it tipped it down with rain for a fair amount of the day we still had a great time. I particularly liked all the bouncing kangeroo men on stilts and the huge moving sculptures there was a giant lobster I remember. All in all although expensive it was worth it and we are going back again this year. We took a packed lunch to reduce the cost.

check out some reviews i've found www.festivalkidz.com/festivals/reviews-lollibop-2011/ was thinking of taking my 2 yr old, the reviews warn of long queues for everything which is a bit of a turn off and the fact that you can't really get that close to any of the characters... I'm still undecided, I think that my LO would have fun but I don't fancy all the queues...

Do you know if the wish4tickets offer is live yet? I've logged on to their website and can see a space for a promo code, but don't know what it is. Does anyone know? I can't quite bring myself to spend the full amount on the tickets, but really want to take my son!

Hi there,

Our 50% off Mumsnet offer which featured in our Money Saver newsletter was valid until the 2nd of August. We can see that the offer is still active on Ticketmaster and our Sales team are currently in contact with LolliBop to see what's happening - we'll get back to you shortly.
