I think it was Iris Murdoch who said "writing is like marriage - you shouldn't commit until you can't believe your luck".

Or something like that.

and im so excited about it. Ive been wanting to write a book for years but could never think of an idea that held my interest for longer than 5 minutes. The idea for this one came to me a week ago and i can't stop thinking about it.
Ive planned out my characters and their backgrounds, the plot/story line, and ive written a rough chapter 1.

Its only a first attempt so it probably wont be great, but im finally doing something ive always wanted to do!
