... apart from the obvious lack of a period?

4 days late - and have nothing! no metallic taste in mouth, no sore boobs, no more emotional than normal, no feeling sick

Have just purchased my first ever pregnancy test - boyfriend wants us to wait till monday when I definitely am late... I have agreed - but I keep getting distracted!!! Hence starting this thread...

Any other people that don't have any physical symptoms till later on? Help me survive the next 3 days!!!

Hi StuckInTheFens

Don't know if this will make you feel better or worse but I had no symptoms for the first 3 months other than not having my period. Eventually my tummy started showing but I've had none of the symptons you describe above and I don't think it is uncommon at all that pregnancy symptoms show when you are a little bit further on.

I like the sound of that! I do want to be pregnant - but don't want to get too excited just yet.
We are going to Germany in about an hour and figured that if its a negative it may put a dampener on things - so will wait and see...
In the meantime I have a secret smile that I am hoping it is a pregnancy Smile

Many symptoms dont kick in till 6 weeks. So don't worry if you feel normal. Fx for your BFP when you test on Monday Smile

Literally the only symptom I had throughout pg was a bump and then later on water retention in my wrists which hurt lots!!

Yep. With DS I wouldn't have known had I not taken a test for about 25 weeks. Periods were utterly skewiff and no symptoms until I got a bump and a foot in my ribs.

I had no symptoms at all. If not for the fact that i had a scan to explore my infertility - ho ho ho - i would probably just have thought i was putting on weight (not unusual for me). And, as i had an anterior placenta, i didn't feel any movements until well after the 20 week mark. As it was, the scan to find out why i couldn't get pregnant found out that i was actually 5 weeks pregnant at the time.

I'd always had very irregular periods so the lack of one wouldn't have flagged anything up for me, and my pregnancy proceeded really smoothly, with no sickness, no cravings etc.

Good luck and fingers crossed Smile.

I was 6 to 7 weeks before i had any symptoms at all which i think is pretty average - not many people get symptoms so early on.

Congratulations!
I tested this morning too! I don't quite believe it yet, going to doctors to confirm! Going by date of last period I am about 4 -5 weeks! I don't think ive had any symptoms yet other than feeling a bit tired :)
